Fulham complete third deal with Spanish defender Cuenca.
- Fulham have made some quick and interesting signings this summer.
- The player has a long-term contract until mid-2028 with the option to extend for another year.
Fulham continue to strengthen their squad with the signing of Spanish defender Jorge Cuencao from Villarreal.
The 24-year-old Spanish player, who can play at both centre-back and left-back, made his professional debut for Villarreal in 2020 after joining from ufabet https://ufabet999.app Barcelona’s youth system and having several loan spells before eventually establishing himself as a regular player and finally getting his first chance to move abroad. Fulham paid Villarreal around £7million for his transfer.
“I am very happy and proud to be here. Fulham is a club with a lot of history and Craven Cottage is a great stadium. It is an old stadium with a lot of history. I chose this team because of the city, the club, the history of the stadium. Of course I want to play in the Premier League,” Cuenca said.
Fulham have continued to strengthen their squad and are now on the verge of signing their third player following the arrivals of Ryan Sessegnon and Emile Smith Rowe. However, they have also lost a number of key players from last season, including Joao Paohinha, Willian, Tosin Adrabioyo and Bobby Decordova-Reid.
