‘FC Bayern Munich would like to apologise for the fact that. Their opponents and their representatives on the pitch felt directly attacked in such a manner and tone and felt dissatisfied as a result of this incident.’

‘The club would like to make it clear that these banners have not been authorized by Bayern Munich and do not reflect the club’s position. These banners are inconsistent with the good and long-standing relationship between the two clubs.’

‘The tone of these banners is incompatible with Bayern Munich’s style. And the good relations the club has with its international partners,’ the statement read.
